Because idiots put labels on things they don't understand. It's easier than them trying to comprehend something like attraction which can't be defined with words because it is a feeling that is different in everyone. I find Indian women attractive and I am intrigued by the ancient Indian architecture and the Hindi culture, but every Indian girl I have been interested in said their father would never let them date a white guy. Im beginning to believe white guys are discriminated against more than any other demographic. People hate me for stuff that happened before either of our lifetimes and call me racist. I stopped trying to comprehend why people do what they do and and just assume it's because they are idiots 😂

I mean racists here go nuts when "White" women date outside supposed race. And it doesn't even have to be an obsession. They can date 20 "White" guys in a row. . . but if they date one non-"White" dude, its over.

Even I have run into issues because I have dated outside of the community a few times.

True point, let me correct myself. I think it can be seen as an obsession if you start focussing your life and narrowing everything on that focus with the hope that a white man acknowledges and falls in love with you.
That´s something than having a preference because I´d define as something I prefer and to have but I´m not changing my way of life to get such a person in terms of hobbies, lifestyle, friends and neglect my family or everything I find value in just to be seen by her.
To be fair, I wouldn´t say its an obsession because that´s an extreme term. In normal circumstances I´d say it´s rather an expectation/preference.
