I think this is very unhealthy behavior from him and a red flag. It shows that he is not over his ex girlfriend, and that he doesn't have the nicest qualities. If you break up, you wouldn't want his new girlfriend making fun of you. I'd say find a new guy who is only focused on you and doesn't care about his ex's!
