I have no clue.
Why people don't respond, and it seems like there is some game playing from what I have read here.
I'm old, so we just called each other, instant results.
We asked questions, would you be interested in going out, things like that.
I'm not sure how well I would have done if things are like this back then.
To me if someone reaches out to you the polite thing to do is respond to then, even if it's I received your message, I'm really busy but I will get back to you shortly.
It acknowledged their message, no one likes to be ignored, and you left the door open to respond when you have time.
A simple I'm driving now conveys the same message when you are driving.

I have no idea. Maybe she was busy or ignored you intentionally. If she keeps doing it then leave her alone it is kind of just petty and childish. I mean if someone does not respond right away I assume they are busy but
