Hi I’m 6ft 8 and feel I’m struggling to meet someone due to my height

Well that's surely a lot and I think I would feel a bit weird with a too big height difference, but I would be anyway open to that, as I was for short guys (I've been with 2 guys who were shorter than me). 6ft 8 would not be my ideal because I think I'm more comfortable with guys who have a similar height as mine, maybe a bit more (just like the average for a guy), but "not ideal" doesn't mean "no, bye".
As long as he doesn't get offended if I joke about that... Because I think that would be what I would do, genuinely expressing my "surprise" of being not used to get intimate with someone that big (but not to humiliate or discriminate, more to break the ice and settle a loose and chill atmosphere).
Anyway, plenty of tall girls who struggle finding a date because they're above 5ft 11 and would like to get a taller guy, too. But that shouldn't be your only target, for sure most of women don't mind "much" about your height. Tall guys get girlfriends too afterall.
If you struggle dating women it's most likely because of other reasons that lie in your personality, lacks, or even in the method you use to find dates: on dating apps, competition is high and the system itself is made to make a strong selection based on observing a photo for 2 seconds, so it can only harm your self esteem and it doesn't even represent the reality because if you meet women in person first, they could be the same who instead would discard you from a social app and instead value you in real life, just because the context is different. Let your personality and charm to be the protagonist. Really, if you see how many (and various) physical flaws women tolerate by looking at couples on the street, you'd see how much personality and charm have their relevance. Just don't use dating apps as your main source if you are insecure about your appearance, since they're specifically made to make a superficial selection based on appearance.
