Why are East Asians preferred over South Asians?

My majority preference is for my own ethnicity/race. But yes, I’ve dated outside of my race many times and that includes southeast Asian/Filipino, south Asian/Pakistani, south Asian/Indian, and east Asian/Japanese. I loved the southeast asian’s sense of humor and down to earthness. I loved the loyalty and dedication shown from the south Asians. And I loved that the east Asian had this certain strength both physically and mentally and could keep me in check. It wasn't too bossy like a parent but just enough bossiness to still be sexy and alluring. Each had their downsides as well but I dont think it had anying to do with their ethnicity. The southeast suffered early childhood abandonment and said that made it hard for him to ever fully commit to a relationship longterm. The east Asian had really strict military parents who also didn’t want him dating outiside the culture and had no issue showing their dislike towards my race. The south Asians became a bit pushy and overly clingy and could never take no for an answer. Would i date any of these ethncity/races again? Yea depending on the guy. But Three of the four were only in my country temporarily so ig it was likely going to always be a temporary thing (although that was not my intention) plus I don’t want to be long distance too long and I also will not move out of the states. I got carried away but ig to answer your question completely, I think the clinginess and pushiness is why I’d slightly prefer an east Asian over a south Asian. But like I said, both have their pros and cons
