They might say whatever about the number, i have befriended girls 20+ years younger and the way the friendship has progressed and the type of connection they have made, the only thing that has kept a big wall in between is the fact that I am married. I have tried not to hide those friendships from my wife because I know she trusts me and I also want to keep myself conscious of my bounds. Let me make a disclaimer that fortunately or unfortunately, nobody guesses my age right. They always fall at least 10-15 years short. I am not white but 90% white women my age look like my mom.

I'm a guy, so I'll answer from the perspective of the man you'd be dating. If I was a 45 year old man, I would have absolutely no interest in trying to sexually connect with someone with such a different life experience from my own.

I've dated guys that much older multiple times. Not because they were good looking or had a great body. They definitely had no money either and I even had to loan them money many times.
I dated them because we clicked well and I don't seem to ever click with guys my age because they're always so immature. Wish they weren't though.
Turns out that 50 year olds can also be very immature. So, jokes on me. 😅

Almost like dating someone your father's age. Majority of the man that are older will take care of their women. Sometimes they just want to see how they feel when they're around younger women. It could be just midlife crisis.
