Why this guy (26) I am talking to and hopefully looking to get into a relationship with say at 22 I'm too young to think about having a serious relationship and that I should go live life. Is this a red flag? Or am I truly too young to be thinking of such things?
You can live your life whilst in a relationship. You don’t have to marry and have kids straight away. But if your idea of living life is hook up culture etc (no judgment at all) then getting into a relationship probably isn’t a good idea.

No you should really start dating seriously at that age
It's not a matter if you're too young, it's more of a matter do you want to and do you feel like you're ready to.
Either way you're an adult now, you can and should do whatever you want.
Huge red flag, dude talking you into getting in a casual relationship with him don't be fooled bruv

Being is a serious relationship doesn't stop you from living your life. I've been married for 3 years at 22 and it's been mega fun. Usually only hoes discourage serious relationships.
Meh. That's not where I was at that age, mostly because I had no idea where I was heading in life. If you have a greater sense of clarity about all that, then go for it, I guess.
You over 18 so you are not too young, looks like he wants to use you so yea a red flag.
You're the one that knows whether you're ready for a real relationship.
If you're comfortable with it. Dating isn't marriage.
