hey

I'm a 26 years old guy and it's a year and a half since I had a break-up from a 6-year-old relationship.

now I'm wondering. does it worth going through this pain again and try to date, and get a wife? considering that I was really hurt the last time when we broke up.

That really sucks when it is a painful heartbreaking breakup. If you want my opinion though, yes it is worth it. I went through a breakup years ago. It wasn't because the relationship was bad but because he would have to move away.

It was no longer a viable relationship and not possible to stay together. So, even though it was not some terrible boyfriend, it was still very heartbreaking and sad to let go.

I went through those feelings as well. I waited a couple of years and in walked my now fiancé into my life. Just like that, out of the blue, there he was. We dated and everything was amazing.

My point is, you never know when that perfect person is going to walk into your life. So, to close off all hope or willingness to let love find you is not a good plan in my opinion. Don't give up because of a rubbish relationship with a girl that wasn't right for you or mistreated you.

That is her loss and you will move onto better things.

yeah we respect each other, she even asked for my help once and i did what i can to help her.

Yes after a two year rest or so... If you mention it and it is less than a year then she is likely to run. It is the equivalent of being separated but not divorce kind of reactions. Got it?
