Memories... I was married for 17 years. I loved her with my entire being. My phone consisted of photos of her, and our cat.

I would look at pictures of our wedding, outings, nights spent with friends, her peeking out from the covers in the morning, I even had ones of her foot after surgery. That one was especially important because it was a reminder of the hard times we weathered and were still standing.

Truly happier times. Shortly after that surgery she left me. No more memories, no more pictures. Apologies for the tangent. We take them for the memories.

Pics of early dates with my husband (way before we got married) are now in our photo albums. He & I sometimes sit on the couch and reminisce memories while going through old photo albums together. I didn't keep pics of ex-boyfriends. He didn't keep pics of ex-girlfriends.

Yeah, we came from the era of cameras, film, flashbulbs & photo developing.
All those are considered vintage stuff now.
The memories they bring back are priceless. <3

Keep it as memory, that's all. Once in a while i might remember her and look at the picture, so i can relive our moments together.
