So I barely started working at this job. And my company just hired this older lady a few weeks after they hired me. Part of our job is doing stuff on the computer and the lady doesn't understand anything when it comes to computers so I've been helping her and trying to teach her how to work certain stuff like PowerPoint and Excell.
I ended up giving her my number for the days she's working when I'm not there she can ask me for help. A few weeks later I get a random text from some random number.
The text says, "Hey it's Brian from work, I hope it's cool but I got your number from Sarah. How are you? :)" Sarah is the older lady I work with.
Brian is this man I once in a while see at work but he's in his 60s. It seemed obvious that he was trying to make a move on me so I just blocked his number and I didn't reply.
I got angry at Sarah for giving my number to someone without even asking me first if it's ok. Before I said anything to Sarah about not giving my number out, Brian who I ignored created a new number and started harassing me.
I don't know how he knew I blocked his number. He said, "You know you aren't really that hot. Not sure why you are acting pretentious. Guess you are a bitch. Take care sweetheart." But it doesn't end there.
I blocked that number and he created a new one and texted me again saying, "You know I could have been a really good friend to you. Maybe even something more. But you had to act like you are hot shit. I bet you are just some regular whore just like the rest of them." And I blocked that number as well.
So then I texted Sarah and told her to not give out my number or any personal info to anyone. And she replied, "I'm 71 years old, all I want to do is teach my granddaughter Spanish and live day by day. I am too old for drama and I don't care for it or seek it💁♀️♀️" I don't understand what that means. But I changed my number.
A part of me is dreading work now because of that guy.
