Why are some women so snakey?

I've never had a real relationship, but I've been close to it so many times.

These times it's always the woman doing something snakey to me. Like making me spend money on them or having another dude the whole time that they care about more and leaving me after I've already got attached (this is after months of talking and meeting up).

Why do women do this? Why can't I have someone that just wants to be with me and not go into the dating scene with a million strings attached?

I've learned over time that a lot of people are inconsistent like that. It's more of a rarity to find a truly good person. In the meantime you just try to see the best in people, but also be realistic about them. If she hasn't earned your whole heart and your trust don't give it to her. After a few heartbreaks you develop a thicker skin, you know the truth, and you move on from snakey people easier.
