The concern happens when most of them have a height requirement that rules you out without needing to know any other information about you. Now your chances of finding love (nevermind casual sex) is severely reduced. Needless to say, this causes terrible distress since it's in our human nature to have mate, sex, love, and companionship.

Men are taller than women, it's part of sexual dimorphism, so most women prefer tall men. On average men are half-head taller than women, so a man should be at least half-head taller.

Not really. I've only ever been attracted to guys around 6ft or taller, hypocritical I know as I'm only 4ft10.

The likelihood of your son being under 6 feet is high. How would it feel for your son to hear from his mother that she doesn't find his height to be a good thing? Would surely bring down his confidence tremendously.

Height doesn't equal attractiveness. Tall men can be assholes. Tall men can be ugly. there's also tall men that are gay. If you narrow it down to tall men that are good looking or at least average looking, with a good personality, good body that is about maybe 1 - 3% of tall men with the rest of tall men either being gay, assholes, or ugly or a combination of these. With you being a 4'10 for a woman, despite having kids with any guy no matter how tall, there's still a good chance that your son or sons will end up short as well. If you value tall height that much that you want to literally give that trait to your son or sons, have kids with an extremely tall man. But what what I said in mind, an extremely tall men with good traits will be probably even less than 1% of all men.

I'm sure there's plenty of guys not attracted to hobbits like me and there are and I have to accept that as I can't control who I'm attracted too. My older brother is only attracted to women with giant juggs should he not date women he's attracted to in case one day he has daughters that are only a cups?

There aren't plenty of men that aren't attracted to hobbits like you. You will turn off a plethora of guys for you to reject them for their height because they are literally not 6'0+ that will probably be your problem. Some preferences are so far fetched that you will have a very difficult time finding someone that is actually a decent person in them if you narrow it down that much. Attractiveness isn't only physical by the way.

I've a chip on my shoulder too about being short, I mean your 5ft4 while I'm basically midget height. Like I can't ride most roller coasters that a 12 year old can. Driving can be difficult, I drive a yaris.
