Do women choose men or do they get chosen by men?

There was a video about how women don't date short or broke men, and I was like yes they do. Women on can choose from men who choose them, so if your short like Kevin heart if you can talk to a women and convince here that you want her she'll fall in love. That why do not believe women have standards that will never change.

You can try and win the affection of your chosen person, but it will fall flat if they don’t feel the same.
I don’t often make the first move, so if the person I like does, once we’ve met in person I make it clear I’m interested and things usually go on successfully from there.
I don’t tend to ‘choose’ someone unless im pretty sure it will be reciprocated. And yes I’ve dated short men, foreign men, tall men and broke ones! It’s the person I’m interested in.

Well. A friend took a friend of hers to join our usual group and he was shy, but I later heard he had a crush on me so he kept joining us and I got to know him better and he me. Despite the crush he didn't rush or push anything unlike the others back when I was actively dating. So a few months later (yep we snails) I was like, this is the guy so I asked him out and he must have been like 'this is the girl' because he said yes. We're almost three years in. No need to search anymore.

Well, I gave up on dating because every guy seemed to want to make it official after a few dates or a week. So much so I thought something must have been wrong with me for wanting to move at a snail pace
