I have trouble trusting people, I second-guess everything and everyone, even my own self. I have anxiety and try not to express it much in order not to burden others, but sometimes it gets too overwhelming.
I put walls around me and I distance myself when things get too bad, instead of explaining.

PTSD and I don't trust anyone, until they earn it, but to earn it they have a huge uphill battle. I've been lied to, abused and worse too many times. Doesn't matter if you weren't the on that did that to me, too many say, that wasn't me, I won't do that and then they do.

Difficult in what sense of the word? Difficult to be with you mean?

My lack of availability. I have a terrible tendency of ghosting people unintentionally for many days for no particular reason. It's a terrible habit that I have forgetting to follow up conversations, which if the other person is not persistent may make me appear super distant and unapproachable. In my defense, I'm mostly busy doing productive work and not just making random excuses not to hang out, and when I'm available I make the best of it.

I know that despite the hectic schedule that I can still make something work, but I prefer to spend whatever little time I have on week days by myself to recharge my energy, so it makes me available maybe 1 day in the whole week if at that (some weeks are worse than others) so communication can fizzle out. Then again, that was the price that I had to pay for picking a very demanding major at the expense of my social life, and that's a sacrifice I'm willing to take. For now, that's probably how things will continue.

I’m a traditionalist, have OCD and love routines. Trust me, these three do not go well hand in hand. I love doing things the old way; the way things were done for hundreds of years. I might only be 22, yet people who know me describe me as an old soul. Next, I have OCD and I require my things to be clean at all times. I do not allow people to touch my things, and if they do, I would know. I have claimed my own spot on the dining table and in the living room and do not allow others to sit at my place. If anyone does, I would get my helper to disinfect it with Dettol. Also, if guests come over and sit at my seat unknowingly, I would not sit anywhere else because that’s my seat! Sounds like Sheldon cooper, right?
I’m also picky with food and my pet peeve is being served coffee in a tea cup, tea in a coffee mug, given a steak spoon for butter or a whiskey glass for wine etc. I believe there’s a specific use for everything and shouldn’t be used for anything except that purpose. So yes, I’m a difficult person to live with.

I can often be afraid you'll ghost me/leave me/stop talking to me.

I severely dislike when people are late.

My expectation is that if you say you're going to do something, you do it. Or if you have responsibilities/obligations, you'll fulfill them.

I'm not that difficult person at all in general, but there are times in which others find that difficult, lol... the most clear example of that are those who just cannot stand to argue with me and for me to remain calm the whole time, they really want me to be as agitated as they are lol

but there's also the times in which I can be really stubborn, but that is also rare

I'm gonna let you in on a little secret.
Most of us struggle with insecurity and lack of confidence.

Once you start keeping that in your mind, you'll see that you are not that difficult of a person.

Whoever tell you that you are "difficult", is just their lack of empathy.
It says more about THEM than about you.
Steer free of such people.

Stubborn, talk too much when i get enthusiastic about a topic, i bottle up my depression though i want to vent... problem is no one wants to listen, so i vent to myself in private, I'm cheap and poor (disability doesn't pay much. Poverty income with $300 to last the month after rent and bills), my vehicle is broken so i have to ask for rides if i want to join people at events, otherwise i bicycle everywhere... so one part me, the other part circumstance.

I'm quite emotionally needy, and I tend to form emotional attachments to things and people extremely fast. Sometimes I can look unapproachable and fierce. But that is the exact opposite of who I am.
