When one meets another we rarely know what we have in the other person. Sometimes they are highly energetic but that turns out to be nervous energy and the fact is they are very quiet and poor communicators. We have to expect this to be the norm.

I give it 3 strikes and then make a decision. After 3 dates, we we are not on the same wavelength then I will probably back away. Communication and real-time presence is the means by which we bond.

Yes unfortunately. It is not hard to tell someone how you feel, or what you think. I do not like games either, nor these attention or guilt tripping games all for reassurance. I can sit with someone and comfort them if they tell me they feel insecure, but trying to manipulate my emotions to feel some sort of comfort in themselves is a no-go.

It is the same as someone who is not fluent in your native language, a lot can be misinterpreted.
