As a mix of a lot of different people I think the US is close to the world average, and also has a wider range than many places. There is a big difference around the world. The tallest countries compared to the shortest countries vary by 6-7 inches, which is quite a bit for an average.

Also, different groups of people settled in different parts of the country. Like I would expect people in north central US, with a lot of population descended from northern Europe, to be taller than the US average.

I am 5 foot 6 and consider myself to be right on the edge of being short, any shorter than me I would say is short. But I don't mean that like "too short" or "problematically short" or anything, I don't think a girl is really notably short like one of the first words you use to describe her is "short" until maybe like 5 foot 2. JMO!

But in reality, I think most would probably consider below 5'4 or 5'3, short.

4'10 is short but acceptable with big but average breast about 97 lbs of boobs and breasts. They exist plentifully in Asia... We call them Geisha Gnomes.

For a girl, your height is completely average.
As for what do men find attractive, each to their own.
I personally think your height is ideal for a guy my height which is 5”4 and If I was taller I would still think its great.
