Why would an ex that you dated for a couple of years try to make you jealous?

My ex says things online that she’s met someone and she’s got loads of new friends now and all this other rubbish I just sit there and laugh as I know it’s all bull she’s a narcissistic abuser so who’d want that? No one.


She’s harassing me now to get me to react so she can play the victim I’m not stupid.


It all depends on why you broke up?


If you broke up like me and the ex I spoke about above he wants you to react and play victim,


If it was for any other reason it could be his way of saying look what I got. Like a show off sort of thing.

We broke up on mostly amicable terms even though it still sucked. He seems to have become less caring rubbing it into my face but still messages me here and there with kisses (friendly I presume). So I don’t get it personally. Maybe he just needs to try and convince himself he’s done the right thing.

Why the need for control? We’re older than younger people so I’d have thought maturity would be been more prominent but perhaps not.

Immature people are immature. I've found that age has very little to do with someone's level of maturity. It seems like a lot of people just... stop developing... in their teen years. My father, for example, is a 67 year old man, but the way he acts sometimes, you'd think he was 15.
