i usualy move on after one night ready to "hunt" the next. only once i felt too emotional to meet the new one an introduction, until a couple days after we were introduced i called her back.

For whatever it's worth, my advice would be to take some time to sincerely grieve (however you do it, just do it) and then get back out there. Meeting new people is a great way to escape the shadow of old ones and move on to better things.
