Not all men like short girls?

I'm 5'5'' with shoes on. Throughout the past several years i have been with multiple guys where they said "you're a nice size" or "its a good thing you're not too short". Just am a bit surprised because I expected that men preferred shorter women. All the guys I've been with were at least 5'10'' to 6'1''

Short girls look young and feminine, men on average 5 inches taller than girls so it's the ideal height-gap, looks like you know it as you don't date a man less than 5'10''.

I prefer taller. Im 5'10. Never dated shorter than 5'7. Tallest was 6'2.
