It's not the majority of any of them to be sure, but it's not singularly isolated to those two countries to be sure. In South Korea (I lived there for years) I saw the same thing to a lesser extent. Expats from all around the world going there for that purpose as well as travelers from all over... it's just not as cheap there as the places you named so you need to be better off financially to be there.

I met one who did from philippines. A very average guy, be hard to succeed with American women. he was very happy and said he should have done that years earlier. had a daughter with her.

works for the women because they want to get out of there.

My dad’s wife is Filipino and whenever he went to the Philippines with her he commented on how there were a lot of older men going for women in their twenties there. It creeped him out. So I would say yes based on that.

Some do, not only thailand and phillipine, also some of them travel to eastern Europe or russian...
Any person have the right to love and be loved but when a man hooks up with a girl who is very young, maybe younger than his own daughter, i doubt that she truly loves him, maybe she's more into his cash or a visa to leave her country...
