Did any couple on here move out before getting engaged/married?

We moved countries before being married. There was no way we were going to marry in the country where we were at the time.

Yes, we did for a long time.

Aha! I see! My boyfriend and I will be moving out together a few months down the line. Right after I find a place. He still lives with his parents and spoke with his parents about it and they are both fine with it.

I hope not to get judged for this, but we’re both 23 going onto 24 at the start of next year.

What do you think is a better idea, moving in before marriage or after and why? 🙂

Whatever works for you is what’s best for you. We moved in together and we get along pretty well. I’ve seen couples getting married and only moved in together after marriage and are still together. I’ve seen couples moving in together before marriage and then divorced. there’s no right or wrong.

With us, we will be increasing the frequency over time, in order to prepare him for the change because he still lives with his parents and I don’t.

He isn’t moving in straight away, but maybe a few months down the line after I move in.

We haven’t known each other long enough to properly pop the question, but he does want to move out with me eventually a few months down the line.

He will or he will not. Again no need to worry about that now. As you said he’s just your boyfriend and you are learning more about him
