Braces are generally only on for a year or two. I'm sure most people would be fine with it. It's a temporary thing you're doing to straighten your teeth. It's not really a big deal.

That’s why I probably would opt for Invisalign if my teeth ever got crooked…if I somehow had to get braces for whatever reason, dating would suck for maybe a couple of years, but then they would be off. Not really. You can try finasteride or minoxidil but that can cause impotence or lead to prostate cancer, which are even more unattractive scenarios than being bald. And even with a hair transplant, to keep the hair you need to be on finasteride lifelong so you got no good options. Not saying you can’t do it, but let’s not downplay the significant risks involved…so regrowing hair is absolutely not comparable to getting braces for a couple years
