Yes, well, some guys mistake any engagement as propositioning. Maybe because from their perspective it always is 😂 I for one am comfortable sharing when a girl looks good (cute how your top almost matches your phone, by the way), even flirting, without the delusion of pulling you away or taking you home. I would say generally guys are just as insecure as girls, and struggle interacting with them, especially the attractive ones 😉 even online, let alone in person 🙄

Saldy I think well some class any engamemt in a social form as interest and I guess that coupled with a decent but of loneliness is probably a big cause. And the other I guess would be the sort of guys who think that there is no way someone wouldn't be interested in them. The gaslighting is possibly a mix of them not wanting to accept any form of negative about themselves or how they are acting.
