I am just going to a job interview, and called Uber, the driver was very, very handsome and I guess, that’s why, he was very confident.

We talked a little, he doesn’t speak good English, I speak little Chinese, he asked me “Where I am from?” And “If I have a boyfriend” and I said “No”, didn’t mention that I have already had a Chinese if I don’t have he can introduce someone to me and he asked my number.

Lol why 🤣 Do I look desperate for relationships or something?

I have my own car, never called for an uber and let's consider that i have called an uber, i doubt that it's going to be a woman driving it and for sure she ain't going to ask for my number, let's be real, only women experience such things...

If i was an uber driver, i won't ask the client for her mobile number, why would i do that? So she starts trembling and texting her friends that she's with a creepy driver or screams "HEEELLLPPPP, let me out you perv" and i'll end up slapping her on her face to bring her brain back to her head 🤣🤣 NO THANKS!

@lafemmefatale_1 can you confirm the rumors I’ve read that women in China prefer to be the ones who approach guys? I heard this was also the case in Japan. I find that odd given how men outnumber women to a skewd degree as outfall from their defunct one child policy.

Yes, in China, men aren’t used to be the ones do approaching, It’s almost always girls who do that.

So, they guys who approach me usually are either very handsome or very rich and confident.

That is fascinating. In the US, the ratio is already skewed (though not as intensely) that way which is why male aggression and mortality is so much higher than women’s. That doesn’t mean women here don’t approach, it’s just not the norm because market forces don’t require that of them.

Suggestion: I don’t know if you asked this, but you might consider asking how much daily exposure two spouses should have towards each one another in a relationship ie. how much is too much time spent together and what’s a healthy balance. That might get some valuable insight into your last relationship.

I am from a very conservative country, it’s hard for me to be in China, because as a woman I am expected to kind of hunt for man.

My ex’s mom was telling me to go and fight for him and not give him to another female, some women go as far as physically assault other women who go anywhere near their men.

I am not like that. And My ex’s mom was kind of blaming me that it’s the reason I lost my ex, because I wasn’t strict enough or something.

I come from the country of dominant men, where they do all the chasing.

The US has a mix of liberal and conservative relationships. Early in women’s lives, they don’t have to chase if they don’t want to because more males are naturally born than women. But as we age, that ratio flips as men have higher mortality rates. It’s not a pleasant piece of information for either gender.

“Unless a woman want to end things, you can’t end.”. That’s funny. Ethically that isn’t right. But because Chinese women have pick of the litter, they can get away with that. If their spouses don’t treat them right, the men will be back in the hunt competing for limited numbers of available women. Their government was cruel when they engaged in depopulation. They took one child policy too literally. It should have meant only child families by conception through ethical means.

I hear you on pursuing married spouses. I talk to them a lot and get valuable information from them. Respect the sanctity of marriage because one day we’d want that for ourselves.

And then there’s the other side of it. What if you DO get married, and you’re unhappy with who your spouse becomes. You’re supposed to divorce. But with all the obligations, people don’t want to take the “risk” of being single. But it’s okay for singles to take that risk? It’s the similar with jobs. People search for new emoloter under a current employer. It’s not really ethical but at the same time people have to eat. Plus you might end up working somewhere that had a poor culture and you had no way of knowing that going in.
