It isn't. But I get why you do it. "You want to be adored", as the song goes, and I get the appeal of some woman who would nurture us and be what our moms never were *and* a sex partner too, but it just is not happening. We have to buck up and fortify ourselves (not just physically, but also mentally and financially).

An episode from a brilliant adult cartoon comes to mind. Bojack Horseman (Will Arnett) wishes for a nurturing partner that gives him that love that his alternating between abusive and neglectful parents never did. BUT - the overwhelming number of adult women are not like that, and Princess Caroline (Amy Sedaris) brutally points that out:

My husband started calling me mama recently, but that's bc our kid is starting to talk so yknow, he doesn't want her calling me sexy or some shit like that lol. He sometimes does do it in like a flirty way, and he sometimes says mommy by accident bc that's what he's always called his mom, but never both at the same time. If he called me like his mom while talking in a sexual way, I'd definitely find that weird...

No I don't think so. Neither of us like the mommy/daddy fetish shit. If u have a partner who's cool with it then I guess I don't think it's bad to call them daddy/mommy, but personally I could just never get into that kind of roleplay or whatever it is. I hate power dynamics of any kind in a romantic relationship, even pretend ones. We have our own weird shit we do, so so each their own.
