I heard nothing but bad things and I don't expect to do well in an environment where I am pit against all other men with just a profile pic and a short bio. I am not in the top 15% of most attractive men in the world and the app is known to give girls a skewed perspective since much more attractive men than me would contact a similarly attractive girl to be a side girl. She'd be highly tempted to go with the wrong guy and my qualities won't stand out.
So for now I prefer meeting girls in places that are more personality driven so its conversation first, date material second. And once I have the energy to do so I do plan to attend (speed) dating events in person because then its about the actual vibe between two people as a whole, not about profile pics and bio texts that could not possibly translate who I actually am.
