I have a female friend whom I know from my old job. I didn't have much sincerity. Then he added me on Instagram. He follows my stories and likes my photos. When I wished him a happy birthday last time, he responded with a heart emoji.

Do you think he might like me?

Don't assume just because someone sends you an emoji that it means something or the same thing you think it means. In other words when I send a heart to someone it doesn't mean I am into them or think about them in a romantic way. Some people just like using emojis to express their feeling at the moment and not just about how they feel about you. There would have to be a lot more signs that someone would be into you other than one emoji. Could he be though? Sure. I just wouldn't base it off just that.

Your post is very confusing. You said, "My female friend, with whom I am not sincere." Then you start referring to your friend as "he." So is your friend male or female? Also, being "not sincere" means you are not honest with that person, or don't always tell the truth to that person, that you perhaps cannot be trusted. It is a kind of derogatory, negative description. I gather English may not be your first language. Perhaps you mean that you are not attracted to that person, or don't feel romantic towards that person. That is not the same thing as being "not sincere." If you can clarify your question, perhaps I could give you a more helpful answer.
