Is it weird that I'm attracted to a woman who other men find ugly?

These guys I know were telling me about this lady at a bar who was "ugly and had the face of a horse". I went to the bar with them and saw her for the first time, and I thought she was beautiful. Her and I talked some and kept smiling at each other, the guys thought I was crazy.

Does it matter? Perhaps you see something in her that others don't; perhaps you're just less picky, but in either case, you've got less competition and (presumably) someone who's got a better sense of the value of attraction (and so is less likely to act like a jackass since "I've got plenty of other options").

Really, the only thing to watch out for is if she's enchanted you with witchcraft and intends to sacrifice you to an unholy pagan god. But that's pretty unlikely.

Could be. A LOT of guys (and gals, too) underrate the importance of just being a nice person.

I think that's great because you don't have to worry about too much competition. Ignore the guys. I always had relatively unconventional tastes in women as well. Might be my visual arts background. I find the most attractive faces to be aligned often with the ones I find most interesting to draw as well as the most ones expressive.
