Hi everyone I'm new here, I found this website while roaming around and thought I join 😊. Treat me good lol.

Here is my first question 😊

So I met this guy a month ago. We’re texting almost eveyday and go on dates like once a week. He’s really sweet and we get along really well. However except for us flirting and hugging hello/goodbye, nothing else is happening. Sometimes it feels like we’re just good friends. Should I make the first move?

Hey welcome! Don't worry, we don't bite lol. As for your question, it kinda sounds like y'all are moving kinda slow so far. But maybe that's just how he likes to take things at first until he really gets to know someone. Some guys like to take it slow.

But also maybe he's just shy and doesn't want to mess things up by coming on too strong. You said the dates are going well and you text a lot, so it doesn't seem like he just wants to be friends. I'd say if you really like him, maybe you could gently make the first move next time - nothing crazy, but like a little kiss goodnight or something. That might give him the green light to step things up without feeling rushed.

The worst that could happen is he's not ready and needs more time. But at least then you'll know where you stand! And he'll be flattered you made the first move, trust me. Just do what feels right. As for your question, yes take the first move since it seems to be going slower than you are hoping for. From a guys point of view, why he hasn't taken the step, can be because out of respect he doesn't want to come on to fast and push you away. He could be shy or he wants to take things slow. Just know that communication is the key in any relationship, so feel free to open up and be transparent with him about feelings and emotions!

there could be a few reasons...

- he is not into you as you're into him
- he is into you, but he's shy or unsure about these things
- he is into you, but he had bad experiences before, so he does not want to "pressure or rush"
- he is into you, but he does not feel ready to go for more, has some issues with himself that he does not want to put on you

alright, well... a kiss is one of those things in which you could just "say it without saying it" you can get close, you can get that moment happen look into his eyes, and then go half the way... any guy should be able to recognize what is about to happen, now... he might get shy, or he might hesitate or just not do his other half of the way for that kiss, lol

so that's when you could ask about it... if he would not like it, or if he's unsure or whatever it is, just talk it out

or maybe, you could just be a bit more direct and ask him... if he would like to go and try for some kissing
