So, you are 28, he is probably around 50ish.
What does he do for a living, does he work out, there are all sorts of reasons he kicked your butt. He may have arm wrestled before, so he knows how.
I'm older but I can still outperform some of the young pups on the department.
I've done this most of my life, I know what I am doing, I know how to do things quickly and efficiently, and I am in good shape.
But there are things that they are better at because of age. They are faster running, a bit more flexible, and a few other things.
But while I no longer run up to go to work, I walk up, observing the scene, and get ready to sort some shit out and go in and kick some ass.
Age and treachery do have their place over youth and enthusiasm. There is something to be said about that.
Now if he was 80 and you are 28 then you would have something to be worried about.
