Ah, that is never likely going to happen simply because I am not interested in dating. Never was and never will.

Now, if that hypothetical scenario was the case, then I would be so upset at myself for having done a bad investigation into my date and not having seen the danger coming. The reaction in this hypothetical scenario is actually quite simple. I would just cut all the ties with him/her and slap my face for being so superficial and not having done my homework.

That would be the end of that relationship and for me, it would be a lesson learned that I should do an even more in-depth investigation of the candidate before accepting to go on a date.

I would simply say that he failed to inform me about this very important fact during the interrogation. Failing to give such an important information also tells me that this person is fundamentally not honest and that there is potentially more information that he is withholding.
