No success with dating apps. Decent girls ghost me, only fat or desperate girls (or both) want me. I cold approach girls at events or in restaurants, ask them out, but they reject me. No other interaction with girls outside work. I don’t want to date at work.

It depends on what you're into. For example, my one friend who is a total gearhead loves to go to engineering conferences, car conventions and a lot of other things revolving around making/breaking down vehicles. This is where she believes she'll meet a nice guy who fits in well with her family and gets on well with her dad (mechanical engineer and fellow gearhead). It's important to her so that's where her focus is. Her plan worked and she's now happily situated with her guy.

Other people go to church and social outreach functions bc that's what THEY value... and they meet their person.

Think about what you're really into (besides boobs or whatever body part you end up favoring on a girl) and follow your interests.

Who knows? It’s a matter of perception. Maybe a more attractive guy would like those girls. Maybe the girls who reject me think they are in a league above, although I wouldn’t say they are so attractive. They are just not fat and desperate
