Do guys prefer short or tall girls?

Question

For context I'm 5'8, I've always been insecure about my height and I've been single for two years. I've been told my height makes me look "dominant" when I'm the complete opposite in reality, do most guys prefer shorter girls?

Most men prefer shorter women. At least shorter than him. Just the same as women who prefer men who are taller. To men it’s a masculine thing. If she’s bigger than him then he may feel inadequate. Yes just cause he’s shorter doesn’t mean he can’t fight, some men who are much bigger can’t fight. But I think it also plays into growing up among other men, dealing w being the small dude among giants. So all his life if he’s short he may have had the complex, feeling less of a man as a boy growing up. Plus men tend to usually big bigger than women, so when he’s a a girl who’s taller she may be seen as masculine. Like who’s defending who in that relationship. I wonder if she beats his ass lol etc. Plus to be able to stand above your girl, hold her, look down into her eyes while she’s looking up at yours, admiring you, like you’re her hero. Not only that but women like to feel small, to look up to their man as their protector. To have a man who can pick her up in his arms and carry her off into the sunset, into the bedroom. To be able to wear his oversized shirts, hoodies, etc. Some men may not care. But to me I associate being tall as something that is associated w a lot of men, not so much women.

Well people say it makes you look dominant... So first of all how many people is that..

And second of all what do you feel like each and every day because that's all that matters I wouldn't let your hight bother you at all.. . Being single for 2 years has nothing to do with that.

It has something to do with out being at the right place at the right time or any place at the right time and your availability where you're going what you're doing you have to be out and be seen.

Most guys that are 6 ft would welcome your height..
But no matter how tall you are if you're not happy or if you don't have a smile on your face everything you're thinking about Will be who you are walking down the street so love your height love yourself be a good person have a beautiful heart be smart be intelligent be wise be loving be caring and that will all just radiate out of you and that's when somebody will walk up to you and say hello

Every dude is different sone don’t care, some like shorter, while others like taller. You’re not even that tall and there is beautiful women who are much taller then you are. You’re kinda in between you’re not tall and not short.

What does matter is what’s inside or your heart that matters more then how short or tall you are. Height isn’t something you can control but who you are on the inside is.

People who make comments can just piss up a rope. If someone doesn’t want to date you that’s absolutely fine but there’s no reason to be a dick about it. Same for women who are jealous and wanna make themselves feel better.

You just be…. You and you’ll attract those who genuinely like you for you.

I tend to prefer short girls, but  short  relative to my own height. I think most guys feel that way but some like women who are taller than they are. You may be "tall" for a number a guys who are about as tall as you are but, as far as I'm concerned, I'm 6' and I don't think of 5'8" as especially tall for a woman. However, I admit that it would be hard for a 6 feet tall woman (and over) to attract me... but, the opposite may be also be true for women. Would you date a man who is just 5'2"? Many women who are taller than that wouldn't, I would guess. Also, height concerns looks and looks aren't everything. A woman may be the most sexy and beautiful you've ever seen, but if she turns out to be cold, bitter, unhappy, toxic, narcissistic, stupid or completely crazy, she'll go from 10 to 0 in a blink.

I don't think height makes much of a difference unless he's short and doesn't wanna carry a ladder around to be able to kiss you. 5' 8" is not really all that tall! My ex-fiance was only 5' 3" and I was 18" taller than her. 5' 8"'s only about an inch or two above average.
Sure, I'd PREFER a tall girl but I'm not gonna give her the boot just because she's short! My best friend is 4' 11' but, if she was romantically interested in me, I'd love to have her as my girlfriend!

Being tall makes a girl look dominant and masculine, ideally a guy should be at least 5 inches than his girl. The good news is that tall girl can give birth to tall kids, so it not all bad.

They Keep Exploding Often and at Unknown time. Nobody wants a Ticking TIME BOMB living with them.

.2. shorter is relative guys always want a girl shorter than they are. but they don't want her to be too short either. Basically nearly every guy taller than you will find you more attractive than a short girl but guys shorter than you will find you less attractive than them. Do not wear high heals if the difference in hight between you isn't that big as if your taller than them when in heels it will put them off.

Most guys are ego bound and don’t realize what they are missing. I personally have gone out with both taller and shorter girls. I don’t mine being the shorter of the two when we were together. Guys with their egos don’t want to be seen as short so they can’t be seen with a taller girl. It is a shame that they let their egos allow them to miss out on what could be the best thing that happened to them
