Sociology, roughly, says: College, work place, friend network, for in person dating, that's the three "places" where people meet, date and marry. That's the big picture. In today's world, online dating took its share, with big downsides due to the inherent flaws of the system it is.

You'll definitely meet people matching with you, romantically or not, anywhere on earth ONLY if this place features the same returning people, and as a bonus, it would be better to like whatever you're doing in this place.

Also think about your friends, friend's friends, etc, your network includes a lot of people you have no idea about. Let's say you have 5 friends, each of them, assuming standard life, will have a network you probably don't know about until you try to hang up more

In school where you're surrounded by hundreds of girls every day, in situations where you can talk to them. That's why you should do this whiles you're in school. You're young enough to go back to school and now you'll have the advantage of being the older guy, so do that.

The gym, wine tasting events, the grocery store, joining a book club or art class, tattoo conventions, concerts, the bar.. whatever floats your boat, do what you enjoy and get out there, but don’t expect anything so you do t get disappointed lol
