Can an Indian woman be respected and liked outside India?

It’s pretty obvious that in India we can find someone to marry and are not considered “the most undesirable “ but what about any Western country? Most of the racism I faced was from people from those countries.

My response: I live in America and here we believe everyone has a chance to live & embark on the American Dream. We have such a melting pot of cultures, ideas, beliefs, religious practices, traditions, and more. These people who are racist, disgusting, pieces of human trash, and bigots aren’t the majority also times are changing… I give my full respect & love & admiration to the people of India, I know your lives aren’t easy and there are struggles you face day to day well just know if this one American man can give love and be warm welcoming with open arms then I’m sure you can bet there are millions of us who would do the same. Thank you!

one of my coworkers is an older indian woman; for the record I am white. She is a hardworker and I have a lot of respect for her. We defintely differ in our customs but that doesn't stop us from working well together at work.

3 (noticeable) differences between me and her

- her strong accent makes it hard to full understand what she is saying sometimes

- during religious holidays she often fasts and is understandably slower (less productive) at work

- she gets more vacation time than other employees (since she is going home to India)

You can definitely find non racist around. I worked with many lovely Indian women who are in great committed relationships but most of them are with Indian men. I live in Canada and I have an Indian roommate that is about the same age as you and we had a conversation on what she wants her dating life to be like here. She said she doesn’t want to date an Indian man as she wants to explore other cultures and beliefs. I guess it depends on what you want but I think you definitely can be respected if you look in the right places and groups of people.
