Why would a 6’11 guy tell me that I’m way too tall for him?

So I’m in college now and after my class, I went to walk around somewhere and I noticed this guy that I started to get attracted too. I mean he is so cute and sexy as hell! I’m going to be blunt. He is SEXY! So I talked to him in the library and we had a great conversation. So in the end, I asked him if he wanted to hang out somewhere and as he was about to answer when I stood up, he looked shocked of how tall I am. He said, “Whoa! Um…. you’re..”

Then I said, “Tall I know. So what do you say? You wanna hang sometime? Or go out sometime?”

Him: Um… you know what…. never mind.

Me: What do you mean never mind?

Him: You’re way too tall for me. I like women under six feet, especially petite women.

I saw him walk away and frankly I’m not surprised because most men love short women! How can he say I’m too tall for him when I’m literally seven inches shorter than him? A 6’4 woman too tall for a 6’11” man? Makes no sense! A 5’9 women would be a foot shorter than him but come one, him dating a 5’2 woman?

I complained to my friend and it looks like she’s tired of me complaining and said, “Look guys are allowed to have preferences and with that attitude, you’ll NEVER get a real man, because no man wants a woman child. Maybe he doesn’t want his future children to be giants or 7’4. I think you need to work on yourself and stay single for a while.”

That comes from someone that’s been with her 6’5 boyfriend for three years. With her 5’1 lucky ass.
