Nope. I had lots of really pretty, sweet girlfriends from the time I was 16 until I met my wife when I was 40. And I was never a suit wearin' kind of guy.

I feel like a poser when I'm wearing a suit.
So I didn't wear a suit on dates. I didn't dress too casual or like I didn't give a fuck, either. I just wore nice, stylish clothes.

But I do clean up nicely and of course I wore suits when I took women out to fancy events. I do have a couple of suits and sports coats.
And I wore a good, black, double-breasted suit when I got married.

I hate the GQ look and I don't act military. I'm not interested in flashy sports cars, either. A girl who wants that kind of shit wouldn't be compatible with my values.

I'm going to say yes. We're it not for my girlfriend helping me shop for professional clothing when I was working in a high-profile state government position, I don't think I would have lasted long at that job or with her.

Once a man stops growing in his late teens he MUST have AT LEAST 2 suits, several socks, belts, shirts & ties, accessories like watch, tie clip, cuff links and perhaps most important 2-3 pairs of QUALITY shoes.

If you were EVER looking for a gift for that male college graduate this is the BEST way you can ever go! It's not sexy or fun but it SURE AS HELL IS NECESSARY for those future interviews!!

Not unless you're in a formal work situation or you're always going out to dinner in high-end restaurants, the opera, or are always at funerals and weddings.

No absolute need for suits except for a few situations. Sports coats will serve well for most events.

Nope, you only see me in a suit when you get married or buried, and now with relaxed dress codes that is no longer a given.
I wore a rented suit when I got married.
When I met her I had on jeans, a decent shirt on with a fire department shirt on underneath.

I think we look our best in suits but there is so little occasion to wear one it is not worth buying them.

I don't think so. One time I have overheard in the clothing store, where 2 girls were sifting through the clothes and when they found the suits section, they mentioned something like "With these they [men] look like they're dressed for a first job interview" and in a manner, that sounded not favorably.

Suits. For some reason I see those serious suits are the adult douchebags version of wearing Adidas and Axe Body Spray. Maybe they've been that boy.
