I think part of its personal insecurities but short women have that too, some men are freaked out by it, and personal preferences/standards. Those are the main things but these are very subjective person to person.

Number one some people have embraced who they are what they cannot control and worry about what they can control. Number two depends as well because while rejection sucks not all men have a issue with it. Number three depends because everyone is different in what they’re looking for. Meaning that some women who are taller don’t mind dating a man the same height or shorter. Other women may mind but find a man taller then her… so it just depends.

But people who have double standards are the ones who end up getting the short end of the stick. Such as demanding a man be taller then herself but also getting upset when taller men want women who are shorter.

Women in general are very picky. That's fine, but if you shorten you're dating pool to men 6' and above you've already eliminated 85% of your potential pool.

Dating is hard enough without a person creating thier own roadblocks.

Well asker I will say everyone’s different on this. Some taller men want a woman whose significantly shorter as well. But a lot of people take romantic and/or sexual rejection as personal. Which it really isn’t someone can not be attracted to someone but not think lesser of them as a human being. So I don’t get why it’s taken so personally especially when they can find someone who is genuinely attracted.

But I do think it’s what’s on the inside that matters most. Short or tall can’t really pick. But if someone chooses to be a shitbag they can
