What should I wear on a date?

Hi, tomorrow I'm going on a date after a long time. I'm thinking about what to wear. My dressing is mainly sporty, I don't feel comfortable in elegant clothes. Gentlemen, would you mind if a woman came to a date in jeans, a T-shirt and a hoodie? Or should I choose something elegant even if it's not my style and I don't feel comfortable in it?

Where is the date? Is it his choice and he's told you? That's got a lot of sway in what you should turn up in. Once there let him know your preferences for what kind of attire you are most comfortable in and then he's not going to be disappointed or judgmental. IF you do put on something super hot and tell him it makes you feel vulnerable then he'll possibly try to be kind and understanding that you've gone out of your way to do this FOR HIM because you want to impress him (even though you don't have to you CHOSE to).

Jeans and t-shirt is ideal, I also prefer girls in casual or sporty outfits.
