But girls don't speak literally like that, to imply things. If she would say "Have you had girlfriends?" It is too harsh like zero, so she adds the word "other" to change the meaning to "plural girlfriends".

If i would hear it, i would think she meant "if we are a good match" not "now i am". also this would be a trap because rules are: not to tell gals about past gals, because it is a "turn off" for the girl asking , to hear about other gals, so we need to answer carefully.
