What gender is more delusional when it comes to dating and why?

Woman. Guys are happy normally as long as she's sweet, treat's him well and they have enough touch/sex to feel emotionally and romantically fulfilled. Woman are wanting dates paid for, expensive rings and weddings, expensive gifts and they want you to be making at least 75k a year but the common bare minimum is six figures. Guess how many men there are that can do that in this economy?

Ladies if you want to date and find a good guy you need a bigger net and paying for your half of the date even just sometimes makes things a lot more viable. This isn't a society thing this is math a lot of guys straight up can't afford to date and support themselves at the same time in this economy and that was before the tariffs and trade wars.

Where I live rent for a studio apartment costs over 60% of what the average worker will make here. Food is taxed in my state, then you have to pay for insurance and then theirs taxes plus your utilities and can you see how the math doesn't math?

Do you know why so many people are on SSI right now? A lot of them straight up have a higher standard of living by being on SSI than working a full time job because you get a lot of your needs covered with other programs. If I got a full time job here I would be working to be poorer than I already am. Also nobody hirers full time because then you have to give benefits.

For me my mental health spiralled until I got ulcers from the stress and started puking blood than I got on the programs and I realized my standard of living went up. Now even if I didn't need it for mental health reasons I have 0 incentive to get off of it and work. In fact I'm disincentivize from it because if you work they're more likely to reduce your benefits and then they deduct 80 dollars a month from your check plus they take another 50 cents away for every dollar you earn so if you work a job on SSI you're working for a slave wage.

Do you see what I mean about the state of the economy in this country? Woman expect 5 star treatment when 60% of Americans are living pay check to pay check for gods sake. They wanted the right to work and they wanted equal pay they got both and now they still want us to make more than them?

Then they also want a bunch of the same things men do, they expect you to read their minds and poorly communicate what they want then get mad when we don't do it when all they had to do was ask directly and it would most likely get taken care of right away as long as they were dating someone worth dating. So for the record men are supposed to be loving but not too loving have the same pay as woman yet somehow make more, pay for everything in an economy that basically would force him to pour every spare penny they had into dating and be a mind reader? Not every guy is a Greek demigod.

Obviously they're are exceptions to this but in my life experience this is hella, hella common.

It’s a fair mix of both it really depends on the person at the end of the day narcissists will always have double standards. They will have standards they hold others to that they never hold themselves to.

Such as people with a messy past male or female. Who want someone to accept them for who they are but expect you to have a clean slate. They are horrible financially not just poor but just being horrible with money wanting someone whose well off financially. Wanting someone whose attractive while refusing to take care of themselves.

Girls are always the most delusional {especially when they're in their mood swings.} If you haven't seen girls laughing at the stupidest things at 11:30 at night, you have no idea what is delusional.
Girls basically go hysterical. The first stage is laughing really hard, the next is trying to calm down but then continue to laugh so hard, they're rolling on the floor. Then they try to talk, but they're laughing so hard, all that comes out of their mouth is gibberish and that makes them laugh even harder. Then after about 10 minutes, they finally calm down.

None are delusional when it comes to dating, unless they believe that a ‘hookup’ site/application will magically pair them with their soulmate when they could form a natural connection from office, work, gym, bar, park, mall, etc. which might develop into a good functional relationship.

I see women who are delusional and men who are delusional in multiple scenarios, though I want to contribute something meaningful not just “my gender is actually the best, it is the other that’s the enemy” because I believe we could learn a lot not just fuel anger.
