Does anyone watch Pop the Balloon?

It's a live show on Netflix, and I feel like I am learning a lot from watching two episodes; learning about what the general population likes, dealbreakers, and standards to meet. I don't understand some parts of it like why there are dream standards or how we develop them. Dating should not feel like preparing for a job.

It’s a show made for drama
Producers hungry for a highlight moment willing to rig the situation to make it happen


Contestants are probably encouraged to be shallow and controversial


In real life balloons don’t get popped that easily


Try real experiences instead of learning from a show

I’ve seen many clips online. I don’t think it’s on Netflix in my current country

And I’m more than happy to talk about my experience especially in contrast to the scenes on that show

You see with a camera rolling there’s no reason not to be superficial

The guy is a little short a little fat a little weird and all balloons pop instantly and “brutally”

In real life people have at least 5 minutes to make a one on one impression

And normal people don’t instantly become hurtful they would still let someone down easy

I’ve had yeses and noes but no one ever went out of their way to hurt me
