Why do so many girls hide their weight on dating apps?

I so often meet up with the girl and they're like 20 lbs heavier than their pictures. Wouldn't that be exhausting and stressful to know you're coming in with like an extra 20 lbs?

If you are on dating apps, it is because you are actually trying to hook up with those girls and certainly not for a long term (25+ years) relationship. Everyone on those hookup sites have something to hide.

Some hide a few pounds, others hide the fact that they have a criminal record or that they are toxic people. The purpose to lie on those hookup dates is to ensure that a minimum of privacy is kept. You would not put on your profile that you have been sentenced to 5 years jail time because of possession or hard drugs, would you?

So, while hookup sites are actually just place where people try to fornicate, they are also sites where people lie about themselves and about who they really are.
