Is love becoming a more of a transactional scene in the new modern times?

It's funny I got accused of this by some cut on here today because I said not everyone is deserving of love. Love is determined by what you give. But this is coming from a woman that think men only exist to serve her. So I told her she has an unhealthy selfish view of love. I wasn't suggesting that love should be transactional in any way (she was just to dumb and self absorbed to get that). I was simply saying that a one sided love can not be sustained. You can't just get. You have to give. And you should WANT to give.

I don't think love is becoming transactional as people are becoming more and more selfish and self absorbed. Giving the appearance of, "what do i get out of this".
