He thinks I cheated but I'm okay with him texting girls?

My boyfriend of 1.5 years has a lot of female friends that he texts and it doesn't bother me that much cause he's had me hangout with them and stuff and they have been close since middle school or high school. Well I have a new male friend from work and I was texting him about how much i love my boyfriend and asking for guy advice on a situation with my boyfriend and my boyfriend saw I was texting him and brokeup with me. My boyfriend never saw the messages and is *assuming* we were flirting/I cheated on him. He won't talk to me at all now. Should I print out the messages and mail it to his house or show him somehow? The messages have 0 flirting whatsoever. I don't know what to do I'm so hurt we haven't talked in 2 weeks

I don’t understand the theory of opposite sex friends especially if they’re that close and especially when you’re in a relationship.. why? Opposite sex acquaintances should be the max of closeness. It’s just entirely unnecessary and if anything your opposite sex friend should be your partner.. but this is the kind of stuff that happens when you think these kinds of things are normal, it’s just a big confusion destined for disaster, I don’t know what totally tell you.

And I’m sure you didn’t cheat and I’m sure that’s the case and you haven’t seen how some of these men think thankfully, but I have and I have been a victim because of my naiveness and now i know but if he thinks you cheated… then you already know why he has female friends… he’s probably not naive, he knows what he’s doing and you’re probably confused because he probably made you think female friends are normal.

Making NEW opposite gender friends when in a relationship is disrespectful to your partner, often leads to emotional cheating at the very least and sometimes physical cheating too.

It's inappropriate it ask for certain relationship advice from friends. A relationship is between two people. You should be the only ones making decisions
