5 moSome are good and some are bad.
"Hey... you haven't texted me in like 2 hours. Is everything okay? Are you mad at me?" Neutral (It might be a little insecure, but a good partner wouldn't see it as a big deal to ease their mind)
"What are you doing? Who are you with? Send me a pic 😊" Neutral (Again, might be a little insecure, but sending a pic to ease their mind shouldn't be that big of a deal)
"I just miss you so much right now. I can't focus on anything. What are you thinking about?" Good (Just shows they miss you and want to know what's going on in your head. A loving partner would happily share)
"Good morning! 😘 Did you sleep well? What's your plan for today? Tell me every detail!" Good (maybe a little excessive on the every detail)
"I just sent you that funny video. Why haven't you laughed at it yet? 🙁" Bad (Everyone has a life and shouldn't have to watch a video their partner sent asap. Although, if they've used the app recently and willfully ignore it, it might be sign they're feeling distant)
"You read my message 10 minutes ago but didn't reply. Is something wrong?" Neutral (They might be on to something here. Being left on read can sometimes be a sign something's up.)
"I'm having a really bad day. I need you to call me RIGHT NOW to make me feel better." Bad (We all have lives and this does not respect your partner's time at all. It's inconsiderate and selfish)
"I saw a picture of a wedding dress that would look perfect on me. Just imagining our day! 💍" Good (They're in love and imagining a future together. Unless you have commitment issues, I only see this being cute)
"I don't like that you're going out with your friends without me. I'll just be home alone and sad." Neutral (It's honest and blunt, but sometimes you just want time alone with your friends to shoot the shit. It's nice to hear that they love your company)
"I deleted all my social media apps because you're the only one I need to talk to. You're my whole world." Neutral (Social media is fine as long as you use it healthily. Not for validation and getting attention. It's nice to know that you like being exclusive and are not giving others attention though. Can't imagine guys really complaining their girlfriend being off of social media)
"I guess you're just too busy for me. It's fine, I'll just talk to the wall." Bad (Insecure, needy, and manipulative)
"Saw you liked Jessica's photo. She's really pretty, huh? Have fun talking to her instead." Bad (insecure, needy, and manipulative)
"If you really loved me, you'd want to text me all the time like I do." Neutral (It might be too much for some peopple, but there may be some truth to this. You make time for the people you want in your life and if you really love talking to someone, you'd want to talk to them pretty damn often, if not all the time. However, they do need to understand boundaries, space and alone time, and work)40 Reply

5 moIt depends on the context.
A thoughtful message is nice, but constant clinginess feels suffocating.
I appreciate attention that respects space and trust as much as it shows care.00 Reply

5 moNot necessarily clingy, but showing a keen interest and being very romantic I do enjoy.
10 Reply Yes- they are very endearing- even uplifting. However, there is a caveat. If the clinger is quick to anger, frustration, or anxiety without prompt response to every text- especially at certain times of day and night depending on schedule, this becomes an issue of trust. When a trust issue is at play, it goes from cute to unhealthy. Expressing affection is awesome- using affection expression response time as a reassuring crutch for one's own issues is not.
That being said, there is a responsibility for the recipient to respond in kind within a reasonable amount of time- taking into consideration the amount of messages, space to breathe and daily/nightly responsibilities.10 Reply
5 moYes and no. I do very much if its done correctly... But I also dont want to be the thing you have to have to be happy. It can go both ways. There is a super fine line for me
I want it to be like - I wish you were here to see what im doing it would be more fun that way.
I don't like it to be like - I miss you and want to go to the gym but I can't without you when can we go together.10 Reply2.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Of course, though without the ability to understand why someone may not reply right away will become annoying at some point so the best is clingy but understanding the rare find
10 Reply18.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. I have messaging disabled on my personal phone, and so do most of my friends. We actually talk to each other—crazy, I know!

5 moYes. Currently I'm single and no one is clingy and chatty. But I love quick replies, romantic chats, words of confirmation but not repetitive texts.
10 Reply 2.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. There's a limit; I once talked with a girl that expected me to respond quickly and would get paranoid if I didn't respond within ~30 minutes.
I broke that off. (Bit of a situationship for a few years)10 Reply- 1.3K opinions shared on Dating topic.
5 moIf I seriously like the guy I don't care if he sends me a little bit clingy texts but if they are blaming or over the top then I'd ditch him quick..

Anonymous(30-35)5 moFor me “clingy” is a guy who shows emotion every once in a while.. (when it’s genuine)

5 moSometimes and sometimes not. There's a lot of factors to consider
00 Reply That all depends on how clingy they are. If they are in jest and humorous, i like them. If not, I do not care for them.
00 ReplyIf I haven't hit it yet or if I really like the chick.

5 moIt depends on who it is and if i’m interested. I like someone clingy in moderation if i’m interested in them.
