First girlfriend was completely different than myself and had no similar interests. Absolute disaster of a relationship.
I only date women who are similar to me now. Views, interests, sense of humor, goals aligning, physical attraction, sexual compatibility, etc. The more we have in common in those, the more likely they'll be compatible with me
Yes, I always dated athletic outdoorsy girls that I met in college. I met a girl at a bar one night. She was the bartender. As the night wore on she told me that she got off work at 11 o clock. So when she got off work I asked her if I could walk her to her car. Then I asked her of she wanted to go out sometime. She told me she was giving a party with her roommates and invited me to come. We went out for a few months after that, Her whole life revolved around drinking and partying. She was totally different from all the girls I had gone out with before but I think that was the point. It was a lot of fun at first but sometimes she would be abusive , especially when she was drunk which was often. She would say the meanest things to me and sometimes she would hit me. After a while I told her that maybe she should see a shrink and she got angry. I called her a few times but she would not talk to me. Finally I drive over to her place. Her Roommate said that she moved out. She said she went to live with "friends" and she did not know whare. I never saw her again.
Yea the last woman I dated was very different than me. She was from a very different culture, different background, different language, different economic status, and very different views on things. We were even completely different when it comes to things like music, what temperature to keep the house, furnishings and decorations, lighting, etc.
Opposites attract, that's what they say. You may find an extravert person is your type when you are introvert yourself. Or someone who is calm and self-confident when you are the exact opposite. That's fine when you are in the initial stages and just getting to know each other. But I don't think it's a good foundation to build something long-lasting when you are too far apart.
if you don’t like American Tackle football 🏈 and you’re always gone and never want to discuss it or learn about it when the Miami Dolphins 🐬 come on and you’re not supportive that’s a problem because I go out of my way to please the girl and do things that she likes. So you gotta give if you want to take.
Yeah most of my partners were different than me in that regard
I’m a guy, I do guy stuff.
It’s natural that my girlfriend is into some girl stuff that change up her lifestyle compared to mine
Yes. Im from a rich family living in a very small village. But I've been with guys from the city involved in gangs etc
If you run with dogs, you get bit by fleas. Don't hang out with guys that do stupid shit.
But I like to hang out with them and party etc... my friends also agree with me. We think the guys from our village are too boring
You can party with guys who aren't idiot gang members. Don't be stupid
“I’m from very rich family 🙌🏽”.
Ya, it was a lot of fun. It can be frustrating but if you have an open mind and the maturity to let people around you be mirrors then it's an incredibly rewarding experience.
to a certain point and degree, yes...
but not entirely, and not on absolutely everything...
same for partners or friends... we're not always exactly alike
Yes. And it continues to be an absolute disaster and the worst decisions that I have ever made.
yes, and its better that you two can help each other amidst having different style and interest. You two should complement each other
Of course. Life is full of people from different walks of life and backgrounds
Yes. Major cultural differences. My girlfriend is black
Yes I was with you we both are totally different but we had great sex. No? 🥰
Been attracted to, but not been with. She is into clean cut looking guys, and that's the opposite of me lol.
What do you mean "clean cut" ?
@Bloodparadise no tattoos, white collar job, etc
Yes I have many times. I love these situations
Sure have... opposites can attract.
Different lifestyle, anyway.
Nope, never have.
I hope you and me are same 😊
Yes... Doesn't matter
Yes, and it's not that good
no, nothing like that happened..
Nope, not at all.
Yes. Every time.
