Well things like genuine interest and effort invested. Has she done something she didn’t have to do? Did she give a gift or pay for a date? Doesn’t have to be material it can just be the genuine investment that she shows. That can set a woman apart from others… Other’s who more just receive and consume and only really give the bare minimum.

I could assume it’s the same for men. There are men who show more investment then others.

There is a difference too between desperation and investing in someone you genuinely like. Genuine investment comes from a place of emotional connection, genuinely wanting to be with someone, and putting fourth effort. Desperation is…. I just want a partner. So people sometimes think showing effort looks desperate and therefore…. They just make someone think they aren’t really they interested.

Desperation isn’t attractive because it’s not genuine. It’s not really for you…. It’s just for themselves. They are desperate for a relationship…. Not invested in YOU. Desperate people are pick me’s for everyone. Someone invested only shows effort into the people they want to be with

Sex isn't even a reason that applies and I haven't forgotten anyone. Some memories are more vibrant than others though, and I suspect the most "unforgettable" prior girlfriends in my life are the ones where the break up was the most devastating. Which isn't exactly positive lol

If she can cook, especially bake. I had an ex who made me cookies one year during Christmas. They were shaped like stars and had M&M's on them. I still think about those cookies.
Another ex used to make incredible carnitas. She also had this salad recipe where she used green apples. Sounds weird but it was really good.
