Do you avoid things that make you uncomfortable?

Everyone does obviously but how far will you go? It's a topic I've been thinking about a lot lately handling my grandma's passing. I'm learning a lot about people making terrible decisions literally out if being prideful and/or cowards.

As for the question... I definitely do it more so than other people I think. I have so many goals and ideas, but acting on them always comes in bursts of inspiration that don't last long. I want to write a book... I've had 18 pages written for years. I want to start a business... but I'll put off on trying to get clients after about an hour of cold calling each day. And there are so many other things too. The hardest part of doing anything for yourself to make you the captain of the ship in your life, is to start... each day. The hardest part of any task is starting.

The only thing I've been consistent with are workouts. I always just make sure I can do my pushups, situps, and handstand pushups occasionally. And play soccer and hike for cardio. I've kept in shape pretty well my whole life because of it.

I've seen more of the cowardly response to life's challenges rather than pride getting in the way. A lot of people DO NOT want to deal with change, any change. And they will run away from life's challenges.

I'm the opposite. I'll run towards conflict and confront problems. I wear a bracelet that has 2 quotes on it. One on the outside and one on the inside. They resonate with me because they pretty much describe the way I try to live my life.

and then I just got used to it, lol
