Yeah! When I was young and single, I used to get so nervous before calling a girl for a date that I would hang up two or three times before I finally did it. It's the possibility or rejection that gets to us. But, guys, girls are just people, just like us! They're insecure, too. I found that out.

In my day and most likely yours, women. From my dating experience 6+ years ago, men are more often shy than women. Now as of recent, like very recently, I’ve heard both are usually pretty shy, more so than ever before. Maybe I’m full of shit, the closest thing to socializing to get a gauge on current trends is going to gyms. I’ve noticed young women are beginning to dress more moderately and frequent chatting with strangers obviously began to stop at the gym about 10 years ago.
